1998 年生まれ、 東京都渋谷区出身。 現代美術家。

東京藝術大学美術研究科グローバルアートプラクティス専攻修了。

自然と都市の分断を繋ぐ媒介者としての“陶芸”に強い関心を持ち、「プロセスとしての“陶芸”」をテーマに作品制作やアートプロジェクトの 企画をしている。

プロセスとしての”陶芸” を介して「自然と都市」、「土と人」、「生と死」という不可視な関係性を複層的な視点で捉えた活動を行なっている。

[制作コンセプト]

私は、産業革命以降の大量生産や消費による自然と人間の精神的亀裂を繋ぐ媒介としての陶芸に関心を持ち、土・うんこ・微生物・火・窯 ・食を軸に「プロセスの陶芸 Ceramic as a Process」をテーマとし制作活動を行っている。例えば、各地域の窯や焼成方法をリサーチした作品制作や、動物の糞を焼成して陶芸制作を行う「POOP陶芸プロジェクト」の展開をしている。

陶芸の本質は、土（=大地）を焼成する事によって微生物を死滅させ、加工物へ変容させていく”プロセス”であると考えている。プロセスの陶芸は、都市から土までのルーツを逆行する。それは、大地と都市、土と人、生と死の関係性が複層的に絡み合い、火という高温のエネルギーを通して何かが残り同時に何かが抜け落ちていく陶芸のドキュメンタリーである。そして、陶芸における火と土との相互作用は、人間と自然の対話を再構築し、精神的な大地へのアクセスを可能にする。

陶芸は、物質的な価値観を越えて、自然と人間の関係性を治癒するためのコミュニケーションツールに拡張していくと考える。

Contemporary artist working with ceramics, soil, and field-based practices

I am deeply interested in ceramics as a medium to bridge the spiritual divide between nature and humanity created by mass production and consumption since the Industrial Revolution. My practice, centered on the theme "Ceramic as a Process," explores elements like soil, poop, microorganisms, fire, kilns, and food. This approach has led me to create works that investigate local kiln techniques and develop projects such as the "POOP Ceramics Project," where animal manure is incorporated into the firing process to create unique ceramics.To me, ceramics’ essence lies in the transformation of soil by firing, in which microorganisms perish, and raw materials are reshaped. Process-based ceramics trace roots from urban spaces back to the soil, capturing complex relationships between land and city, earth and people, life and death. Through the intense energy of fire, some elements remain while others are released, prompting reflection on material transformation and human production and consumption.The interaction of fire and earth in ceramics reestablishes a dialogue between humans and nature.I believe ceramics can go beyond material value, serving as a communicative tool to heal humanity’s relationship with nature.
